If you watched Liverpool game today then you will agree with me when I say the team played a much better game today comparing to their season opener game. I was impressed by the team selection, sadly the team had to lose Lucas in the opening minutes of the game. The youngster Raheem Sterling played very well on his first start in the EPL. I criticized a lot the last weekend team selection and I felt like the coach read my criticism [wishful thought] on the way he selected his team today.

One thing the team has to work on will be the number of back passes because today they were way to many and at the end it proved to be costly when Skirtel gave away a goal. The manager has to work on the triangles to give more passing options to the defenders to minimize the number of passes back to the goalie.2-2 score is not the end of the road but an improvement to build on especially considering the strength of the opposition. Overall if the team keeps up the mentality there will be a bright future for the Mersey side.
