Liverpool are closing in on Roma striker Fabio Borini after agreeing a fee in the region of £8 million, according to reports.

Roma only purchased Borini outright in June, paying nearly £4 million in order to acquire the remaining 50% of the player's economic rights from Parma.
Borini, 21, worked under Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers at both Swansea and Chelsea. A deal is expected to go through within the next 48 hours, with just personal terms and a medical set to be completed.
An ESPN source said: "The player is in Liverpool now and undergoing a medical and discussing personal terms. There is therefore still a little way to go before the transfer is complete."
Borini's agent, Marco De Marchi, revealed on Wednesday that the striker was "seriously considering" the offer on the table to move to Anfield, and it seems he is now keen to try again in England.
